Noir Styled Shoot

The concept for this shoot was modern, edgy, and something that would appeal to young, trendy brides. The design quickly evolved into a wedding concept for the bad-ass couple; people who live their lives outside the lines and have their own unique style. That is how we came up with the idea to do a wedding based on the color black and incorporate edgy and minimal design elements. The dark, edgy concept of the shoot was well balanced with romantic touches sprinkled throughout the design.

The location, Castle Hall, has been standing since 1899. It has seen the best and worst of times. The grittiness and imperfections of the building were perfect for this edgy shoot. Besides, there are not many castles in the United States. Bad-ass bride or not, who wouldn’t want to be married in a castle?

If you’re looking for unique wedding elements such as taking photos on a fire escape and giving away charcoal as your wedding favor, then this wedding inspiration is for you!
